Interests: Singing, coloring, playing with toys

Diagnosis: Medulloblastoma 

Cap Hero: Anna and Elsa from Frozen

Adrianna was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a cancerous brain tumor that starts in cerebellum, the part of the brain that deals with muscle coordination, balance and movement. 

In spite of her illness, Adrianna is a loving, outgoing child. She loves to sing and Disney’s Frozen is one of her favorite movies. 

Perhaps Adrianna chose Elsa and Anna to be her Cap Heroes because she can identify with them. Like her, they spend much of their childhood confined – they in their castle, Adrianna in a wheelchair.  

Circumstances changed for Elsa and Anna and we hope the same for Adrianna. While we doubt her adventures will include becoming friends with a talking snowman, may hers be a life filled with laughter and song.
