Dagan has always loved baseball and hats. Losing his hair as a result of chemotherapy has made hats even more of a staple in his wardrobe. According to his mom, Dagan’s José Altuve Astros hat from Caps for Kids will be “a prized possession for his whole life.”

At 5’ 6”, José is the shortest active MLB player. Dagan likes to watch him because “He’s little and fast.”

“You win a championship,” José once said, “And you feel 7 feet tall.”

By signing the cap, he’s making Dagan feel a little taller, too.
