In 2017, Eva was diagnosed with ALL, the most common childhood cancer.

When it was time for treatment to start, she was thrilled to have YouTube star Jake Paul as her Cap Hero. To Eva, the cap is proof that someone is listening and cheering her on.

While Eva finds inspiration in Paul, her mom finds inspiration in Eva who she describes as being bold, strong – a fighter.
