Chemo is no fun. Just ask Louis, a young boy from New Jersey, who was diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer. As sick as he was, Louis was thrilled to receive a cap signed by the coach of his favorite football team – Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks.
Coach Carroll, who led the Seahawks in back-to-back Super Bowls in 2013 and 2014, knows a thing or two about beating the odds. He once said, “Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen.”
We’re hoping his Pete Carroll cap was just the thing Louis needed to give him a little support – a little nudge – when he needed it most.
