While it’s no fun to have Ewings Sarcoma, it is fun to get a cap signed by one of your favorite baseball players to wear during – and after – treatment. Third baseman Evan Michael Longoria played for Naidel’s home team, the Tampa Bay Rays, from 2008-2017 and, even though he’s now with the San Francisco Giants, he’s still Naidel’s hero.

The autographed cap is very special to 15-year-old Naidel, who has been described as an outgoing, social kind of guy. Like his dad, Naidel is a huge baseball fan and “Longo” is his favorite.
