At the age of 5, Ellee was diagnosed with ALL Ph+, a cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. When we met this loving, independent, sassy, smart kid, she had another year of chemotherapy ahead of her.

When Ellee selected her Cap Hero, she chose someone special – not to her so much, but to her brother Hudson. She could have asked for a cap signed by her favorite singer or movie star, but instead she wanted Bryce Harper, her brother’s favorite baseball player, to autograph her cap. She wanted to give Hudson an amazing birthday present and she succeeded.

Thank you, Bryce, for making not one, but two kids really happy. By the way, we sent Ellee another special cap for herself. May it brings luck to this sweet, loving little girl.
