In February of 2015, Grayson was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Grayson had chemo and radiation and was in remission for about 10 months before he relapsed. He is currently undergoing chemo and has a stem cell transplant and more radiation ahead of him.

Grayson, who has been described as being very friendly and kind, loves Bruno Mars’ music and hopes to go to one of his concerts one day. By signing Grayson’s cap, Bruno proved that he lives by the lyrics to his song “Count On Me”:
