Everyone knows cancer isn’t fair. If it was, no child would be in this fight. Certainly not, fair, mild-tempered, polite, cooperative Jaden.

To make going through treatment just a little bit easier, Jaden asked for a cap signed by former Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest basketball players of all time. Bryant famously said, “The moment you give up is the moment you let someone else win.” This cap is a reminder to Jaden to never give up.

“Receiving a cap from one of my idols motivates me,” Jaden said. “Words cannot describe how great it feels.”
