Cap Hero: Channing Tatum

Just three months after her father passed away, Sydney was diagnosed with cancer.  If anyone deserved a great Cap Hero, it was this beautiful, 17 year-old young woman. Award-winning film and television actor Channing Tatum came through for her.

Channing, who believes “Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger,” not only signed Sydney’s cap, but he sent strength and support throughout her chemotherapy. 

Sydney, who has been described as “tough on the outside and sensitive on the inside,” said that receiving her cap is everything to her. “It means that someone I care about cares about me and what I’m going through.”

We’re so glad we could connect Sydney with her Cap Hero. We hope her cap puts a smile on her face every time she wears it and that, one day, she gets to sit down for a double cheeseburger with Channing Tatum.
